I'll dominate 'credible combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really going ahead.
